As Managing Partner and Chief Of Operations at Oxford Investment Partners Hunter is responsible for the ground operations, develops partnerships, and maintains specific relationships with government officials. He coordinates with our partners and teammates including architects, engineers, contractors, city officials, and public officers to help facilitate healthy growth strategies and models for the communities in which we invest. Hunter also ensures smooth operations while striving to construct new avenues of expense conservation for the company.
Hunter Slay’s professional career started in 2002 when he received an Associate of Science Degree from Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. Within less than two years, Hunter’s experience and success prompted the university to solicit his return as a Lab Instructor, where he stayed until 2006. In 2006, the achievements and accolades of former students propelled him to further his own career by pursuing a position outside of the university with PSAV; currently the largest audio visual company in the nation. Through two promotions within three years; Hunter worked closely with executives from Disney, Microsoft, Siemens, ESPN, the NBA, NFL, Nike Pricewaterhousecoopers, and many more to develop corporate team-building operations, while absorbing their best practices in marketing, branding, scaling and internal operations.
Through applying this knowledge to his personal brand; Hunter found rapid success in the years that followed as a producer in Los Angeles, California. This success led to profitable investments in real estate, securities, start-ups, pre-revenue, and middle market businesses. Hunter has gained and maintained his investment acumen by regularly attending syndication and real estate investor conferences held nationwide. He attends >100 hours of real estate investment annually, and is an active member in REIAs across the country.
Hunter comes to Oxford Investment Partners (OIP) as the current Managing Partner for Strategic Acquisitions United, where he has successfully escalated returns annually on real estate assets exceeding $1M. His recent move to Oxford, Mississippi has created an unique opportunity to orchestrate value-add development projects in the hottest market in the Southeast region.
