George Garcia
Government Relations Consultant

George Garcia has nearly 30 years of local government planning and
development experience, with nearly five years served as Planning
Director for the City of Henderson, Nevada. Prior to locating in the
Valley he served as the Assistant Planning Director in Overland Park, KS
for nine years.

George obtained his degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago
Circle and has four years of post graduate work: two in the Masters of
Urban Planning at the U. of I. and two at John Marshall Law School in
Chicago.

His 20 year old Nevada land planning and development services firm is
well established and respected in southern Nevada’s local governments
and agencies. The firm is recognized as a leader in:

  • government relations, entitlements
  • due diligence, development coordination
  • permitting and business licensing

The portfolio includes substantial experience in retail, office,
multifamily, residential, mixed use, master plans, gaming, and
redevelopment with projects in Henderson, Clark County, Las Vegas, North
Las Vegas and Mesquite, Nevada.

He is actively involved in the community as a member of the Urban Land
Institute, National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, American
Planning Association, Congress of New Urbanism and various Chambers. He
is also a Director with the Goodwill of Southern Nevada and the
Henderson Development Association.
